Third Age Learning Guelph fall lecture series

Third Age Learning Guelph offers four lecture series annually, two in the fall session, two in the winter. Each series includes eight lectures, over eight Wednesdays (one series in the morning, another in the afternoon). This fall, TALG will be presenting two series of eight lectures starting September 13, 2023 and running each Wednesday until November 1, 2023. The morning series is about artificial intelligence. The afternoon series is about international relations between 2001 and 2023.

Brainy Boomer Lecture Series: Exercise for Seniors with Giuliana: Full Body Movement

Giuliana Guerriero will be giving an exercise class in English. It is so important to stay moving, wherever you are, to keep a healthy mind and body! GSC Athletics has researched and designed workout programs with our seniors in mind and is excited to offer them to you VIRTUALLY! Brainy Boomer Lecture Series: Gentle Flow Yoga with Tanza

Tanaz Pardiwala  will be giving a class in English on “Gentle Flow Yoga with Tanaz”. This class is geared to anyone who is either new to yoga or is interested in a gentle practice. The class incorporates breathing exercises, simple flow sequences, and slower paced movements all towards enhancing alignment, strength, balance, and flexibility. No previous experience or flexibility required.

The 2023 Fall lecture series will run every Wednesday morning and afternoon from Sept.13 until Nov.1. You may choose to attend in person at Harcourt United Church (87 Dean Ave., Guelph) or to watch the lectures via livestreaming from home.   For more about this venue and also the hybrid format, see our Information Sheet.
