The University of Calgary Retirees Association is hosting a seminar entitled "Role of technology and finance including experimental methods and game theory to decode how digital trading and game theory is used to transform market dynamics and investor psychology".
The speaker is Professor Marius Zolcan, Haskayne School of Business, Univ. of Calgary. His research focus is on the impact of technology on investor behaviour and securities exchanges, using game theory and controlled experiments.
There will be two speakers for the UGRA 2026 Spring Forum.
1. Dr. Rene Van Acker, Professor and President of the Universtiy of Guelph will provide his vision for the future of the University followed by a Q&A session with the audience.
2. Dr. Paul Hebert, Professor, CRC, OC, FRSC, Scientific Director of the Canadian Centre for DNA Barcoding will present a seminar entitled: The End Game - Every Living Thing.
