Gentle Flow Yoga with Tanaz

Gentle Flow Yoga with Tanaz is geared to anyone who is either new to yoga or is interested in a gentle practice. The class incorporates breathing exercises, simple flow sequences, and slower paced movements all towards enhancing alignment, strength, balance, and flexibility. No previous experience or flexibility required.

Tick Talk: understanding and preventing tick-borne illnesses

In the next McGill News webcast,  experts Dr. Kirsten Crandall and Dr. Momar Ndao, who specialize in infectious and animal-borne diseases, will discuss the reasons behind the alarming spread of ticks into more northern climates, and share tips on how you can protect yourself and your loved ones from Lyme Disease and other tick-borne illnesses. UGRA Annual General Meeting

This presentation will focus on the positive implications a sense of belonging can have on our health and wellbeing as we age. It will highlight the risks associated with isolation and loneliness and how social leisure experiences help to ensure we have continued opportunities to experience belonging throughout our lives.
