The European Network of Retirees presents a seminar entitled: Using Artificial Intelligence (AI) Tools: Lessons Learned and Best Practices Exchange. It is becoming more and more obvious how important information technology is in a long-lived society and how useful it is for active aging. The opportunities brought by the possibility of using artificial intelligence tools further accelerate efforts to properly train seniors to use them. Like all seniors, retired professors also need this technology for themselves.

In this presentation, Dr. Eric Kennedy discusses the interconnected sources of our wildfire crisis and what can be done to address it. We consider some of the challenges with our emphasis on firefighting and suppression, and discuss some of the paradigm shifts that will be needed if we want to live safely with wildfire in the future.

Third Age Learning Guelph offers four lecture series annually, two in the fall session, two in the winter. Each series includes eight lectures, over eight Wednesdays (one series in the morning, another in the afternoon).
