The speaker is  Dr. Sachil Singh, Assistant Professor, School of Kinesiology and Health Science, Faculty of Health. The dominant social and scholarly view is that race is a social determinant of health. By offering a number of examples pertaining to the treatment of race in healthcare, this talk examines if this is indeed the case.
