Cycling 4 Chemo Chairs is an initiative to raise funds to support the purchase of new chemo chairs for Grand River Regional Cancer Centre (GRRCC).

The Age-Friendly Universities Global Network is committed to promoting and supporting an inclusive approach to healthy and active aging across the lifespan. The Ten Principles of an Age-Friendly University set a framework for higher education institutions to embrace age-friendly practices. Since 2012, over 110 universities across five continents have embraced the principles.

The UGRA Executive has made some minor changes to the UGRA Constitution, which was last amended in June 2023.  Changes to the Constitution will be considered at the Annual General Meeting on June 13, and must be approved by at least two thirds of the members in attendance.

As per the Constitution, members are provided the opportunity to read the revised version prior to the annual meeting.  You are encouraged to have a look at the attached draft and send any comments you have to the UGRA email address:  ugra@uoguelph.ca

Retirees are entitled to continued use of their university email address as discussed on the Retirees HR webpage.

However, this entitlement does not extend to use of desktop versions of the Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).

On Monday, 25-Mar-2024, CCS will align Microsoft 365 licenses for some retirees with this standard. This process will also set the accounts' email storage limit and OneDrive quota to 50GB each.
