This presentation will focus on the positive implications a sense of belonging can have on our health and wellbeing as we age. It will highlight the risks associated with isolation and loneliness and how social leisure experiences help to ensure we have continued opportunities to experience belonging throughout our lives.

The U of Manitoba Centre on Aging host their 41st Spring Research Symposium on the University of Manitoba Fort Garry campus.  The Symposium will also be streamed live online.  It is free to attend, but registration is required.
