Brainy Boomers Lecture Series - McGill University Research Centre for Studies in Aging
Date and Time
Details
In 2007, the Education Committee of the McGill University Research Centre for Studies in Aging launched a series of lectures on healthy aging to the general public. The goal of the series is to suggest practical steps to improve and maintain brain health, as well as to promote healthy lifestyle choices amongst the most populous generation in history.
Research has found that outside of aging, the most influential factors in determining one’s susceptibility to neurodegenerative diseases are the lifestyle and environmental factors. Therefore, it is very important to pay attention to our basic health and lifestyle choices.
