Topic: Changing Behaviours to prevent falls and the Benefits of Lifeline Safety"

Speaker: Roger Chalut, Lifeline Canada Community Representative

Lifeline worked closely with Dorothy Baker, Ph. D., RNCS, a falls expert from Yale University, to develop an in-service on an effective approach to help seniors prevent falls. The in-service introduces techniques that the Yale research team, led by Mary Tinetti, MD, used to achieve a 30% reduction in falls for seniors living in the community.
