ISQOLS WEBINAR:

"Robots, meaning, and self-determination"

THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 1

7am PDT/10:00am EDT/4:00pm CEST

FREE

Robots are becoming increasingly more capable than humans in executing a growing range of complex tasks. Smart machines can now perform surgeries, assemble automotive parts, distribute packages, and dispense medicine. They are found on factory floors, in restaurants, and even on the surface of Mars. This rapidly accelerating wave of automation is one of the most powerful forces that will reshape the future of work.

But how do robots affect your job quality? In this webinar, we will present findings from an empirical study on the impact of robotization on work meaningfulness and autonomy, competence, and relatedness, which are key for motivation and human flourishing at work.
