Invitation to participate in a study to improve air travel for seniors
There is an opportunity to participate in a research study by a PhD student at the University of Ottawa exploring the air travel experiences of adults aged 60 and older (REB# H-01-26-11185).
The purpose of this study is to better understand what supports or hinders older adults' comfort, confidence, and accessibility when travelling by air. The findings will help identify the needs of older adults during air travel and inform more age-friendly and inclusive airport and airline practices, while also guiding priorities for future research.
Individuals who are 60 years of age or older and have travelled by air at least once in the past three years (at or after age 60) are invited to participate.
Participation involves a one-time online survey that takes approximately 15-35 minutes to complete, depending on individual needs and responses. Reponses are kept confidential.
