online course on Climate Change, Migration, and Health
The Quebec Population Health Research Network (QPHRN) is pleased to announce the launch of the CLIMIGRANT, a free online training course exploring the intersections of climate change, migration, and health. Climate change and environmental degradation are one of the major challenges of our time. They represent one of the greatest threats to the health of populations and are the cause of migratory movements/forced displacements that are set to increase, whether at international or local level. Understanding these phenomena requires a global vision, and in particular an interdisciplinary one.
The self-paced course (estimated duration 8 hours) enables you to obtain a generic certificate when you have completed the training that can be used to continuing education. This training is available in both English and French.
The course is open to all! It is aimed primarily at nurses, researchers, students, clinicians and other healthcare professionals, stakeholders, decision-makers and other interested parties.

It was developed by the Global Health Axis, directed by Lisa Merry (FSI, UdeM) and the Ethics Axis (directed by Matthew Hunt, McGill University) of the QPHRN.
