Thursday, October 28th, 2021 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM

Last spring, Dr. Richard (Rick) Van Loon, past President of Carleton University, gave Part I of his 2-part lecture titled “Hard Travel: 6000 years up the Ottawa River and into the West”.  It was a big Zoom success, with guests from the universities of Saskatchewan, Calgary and Guelph.

As promised and by popular demand, Rick will be presenting Part II titled “Hard Travel: Alex MacKenzie from Canada by land, 22 July 1793”. This has been scheduled for: Thursday, October 28, 2021 at 7:00 pm.

If you would like to attend, please RSVP to: susannesrallah@cunet.carleton.ca [1] and your name will be added to the Zoom invitation.  The Zoom link will be sent a couple of weeks before the event, and then again the day before.
